Thomas Mbogo Mwangi, affectionately known as “Tom” or “Toma”, was a hardworking, kind-hearted man whose life was defined by faith, determination, and quiet service. Born on March 4, 1992, in Kiang’ombe Village, Kirima Location, Kirinyaga County, he was the cherished son of John Mwangi Mbogo and Catherine Wakabari Mwangi. Baptized into the Catholic faith at Kerugoya Catholic Church in 1994, Tom was confirmed in 2003 and served faithfully as an altar boy. Throughout his life, he remained grounded in his faith, worshiping at Kiang’ombe Catholic Church and serving in the St. Cornellius SCC.
