How to Use Murial’s Page Builder
This is Murial’s Page Builder. Page Builder is the place to build and edit your Murial memorial page.
We believe that stories are best told in chapters, and so similarly, Murial’s memorial pages are built with sections. Our Page Builder reflects that by presenting each section one by one for you to edit and make changes.
Top Navigation Bar
On the top navigation bar, you will find your Murial payment status and buttons that manage the page's general settings like reordering sections, inviting others to co-create the page, or saving/publishing your draft.
The page builder is separated into two main areas: the Drawing Board, and Navigation Panel.
Drawing Board
The Left Area is your Drawing Board. The Drawing Board is the area where you mainly change the text content of your page’s sections. To make edits, simply click, and start typing.
To go to the next or previous sections on the page, you can either scroll, drag the section up or down, or do what we like as the fastest: press the up and down arrows on your keyboard.
Any editable text will have a hover box around it. Some texts like our section labels, are not editable. You will know this because there will be no text box indication when you hover over the text area with your mouse.
If you have some specific request for changing certain non-editable text, please contact our chat support and state your request. We might be able to accommodate your request.
Navigation Panel
The Right Area is your Navigation Panel. This panel is where you control each section’s unique features. Each section has its own functions, shown as buttons.
A premium feature will have a golden color indicator when you hover over the button triggering it. Feel free to try out premium features, as you will not be charged for testing them in your draft.
A button with a red color indicator is a button that will remove something from your memorial page. For example, disabling a certain section from the page, or removing a certain pop-up button from the section (for example, removing a “donate to” button).
